My name is Heather VanSteenburg. I am a freshman majoring in Accounting. I am from upstate, New York, in a town called Otego. There really isn't anything special there. It is a small neighborhood but usually everyone gets along. All my family lives around that area. There isn't many of us left so we try to get along with each other the best we can. Mainly the only thing you could do around where i lived was go rollerskating, go bowling, shopping, go out to the movies or out to eat, and hang out with friends. There are a few little clubs but nothing major.
I currently live in Central Falls, Rhode Island. I live off campus and commute every day by taking the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority, also known as RIPTA. I live with my boyfriend and his family. They are hispanic so it is a different living style that is full of different cultural traditions. I picked Johnson and Wales University because I think it is a good college and its away from home but not too far that i can't drive back home to visit.
I like to do different things like shopping and going to the movies. I hang out with friends when I am not busy and when i just want to have a fun time. I usually spend alot of time hanging out with my boyfriend when I am at home and he isn't working. We play video games and hang out either with just us or with his family or friends. I love to read. It is something I like to do in my spare time when I don't have plans with anyone or I am just sitting home doing nothing.
